It it presumed that every human person receives the gift of life in the context of love and relationship and that is why every life has an inner longing to live life to the fullest. This is true, not only for himself/herself, but equally desires it to be realised for every person in the society. This entails that human life is to be respected by one and all. The respectdue to this life starts from the first moment of conception to the last moment of its natural death. It is this very attitude that we have towards human life is called Pro-Life. Amidst the various currents that are working against life, the Pro-Lifers choose an option always for Life. This is the Pro-Life Option which the Family Service Centre promotes.

The Pro-Life Option Department conducts regular awareness programmes to uphold the dignity , the sanctity and the nobility of human life. It does this through various multimedia programmes, by distributing literature, by enacting street plays and by conducting retreats.
