Goa is one of the smallest among the 28 States of the republic of
India, but with incomparable beauty which attracts tourists From all
over the world. It has most charming beaches, flowing rivers, thick
woods, Enchanting mountains, and lush green fields. It is a land of
beautiful churches and temples, as well as world heritage monuments,
in one of which - the Basilica of Bom Jesus, lies the body relic of
St. Francis Xavier. Known for its exquisite cuisine, Goa has unique
history and a rich cultural background and vivid folklore. Languages
spoken are Konkani, English, Hindi and Marathi. |
